Users should avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can download and extract this information.
Comment-related cookies store names, emails, and websites for one year. Login pages set temporary cookies to detect browser acceptance. Login cookies persist for two days; screen option cookies last one year. "Remember Me" extends login persistence to two weeks. Article editing creates cookies lasting one day that contain only post IDs.
Articles may include embedded videos, images, or articles. These external sources may collect visitor data, use cookies, employ third-party tracking, and monitor user interactions.
Password reset emails include visitor IP addresses.
Comments and metadata remain indefinitely to facilitate automatic follow-up comment approval. Registered users' profile information is retained; users can view, edit, or delete their personal data anytime (except usernames). Administrators can also access and modify user information.
Account holders and commenters may request exported files of their personal data or request complete data deletion, excluding information required for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Comments undergo automated spam detection services.
The Driver School Directory mobile application collects location data solely to find driving schools near you. This data is not stored on our servers and is only used to query nearby schools. Enrollment requests submitted through the app are stored securely and shared only with the driving schools you choose to enroll with.
